Serve on Easter
Each year at Easter we get to welcome large numbers of visitors to our services. From extended family to first-time guests, we want to be extra intentional about making room for people that may hear the gospel for the very first time. These higher numbers present unique challenges and opportunities for us to serve guests from parking, to seating, to childcare and more.
Our parking team is a brand new ministry team that is being formed specifically for Easter Sunday. If you're interested in learning more you can click below.
Other ministry needs are also listed below. If you aren't sure what might be the right fit for you, scroll all the way down and fill out the general serve interest form and we'll get in touch with you.
We also know that not everyone is able join a serve team this Easter, however, we ask that you join us in "making room" for guests by doing these things:
- Pray for people who God is preparing to attend an Easter service.
- Pray for our leadership and volunteers as they prepare to serve those will attend.
- Give a warm welcome to people you see at an Easter service who you don't know. It may be there first time coming to church!
- Be aware of parking and seating limitations. We have extra parking available at our Church Offices, Ministry Center, and we've even been blessed with permission to use the parking at Bank OZK if needed. You can help make room for guests by going ahead and parking a little further away so that those who are physically limited or those who are new and simply don't know their way around can have a more positive experience at First Baptist which hopefully leads to more gospel conversations. This also applies to seating. You can move toward the center of our seating so that those who come in later than you will have a place to sit. We will also be adding additional seating against the back walls and even out in the outer hallway of the worship center.
