What do Sundays Look Like?

Worship? What's that?
The word is derived from the Old English root word "weorþscipe", meaning to venerate, worship, or show honor to, and has been understood as "worthiness or worth-ship"—to give, at its simplest, worth to something.
When we speak of the worship of God, what we mean is this:
The inner essence of Christian worship is to know God truly and then respond from the heart to that knowledge by valuing God, treasuring God, prizing God, enjoying God, being satisfied with God above all earthly things. And then that deep, restful, joyful satisfaction in God overflows in demonstrable acts of praise from the lips and demonstrable acts of love in serving others for the sake of Christ. In other words, we recognize who God is and that He is worthy of our worship, causing us to show honor to Him by singing, sharing the Gospel, and loving and serving others as He has called us to do!
Musical Worship at First Blairsville
Our musical worship style is broad, ranging from hymns to modern worship. We truly believe that worship is more than artistic expression, it’s an attitude of the heart. We want to provide a heartfelt, meaningful worship experience for wherever you are in your walk with Christ. The First Blairsville worship ministry is a thriving and diverse group of believers dedicated to serving God through the creative arts.
Our aim is to create worship environments that allow people to meet God and discover His personal message of grace through the use of music, drama, production technology, and other creative arts.

Baptism
Our vision at First Blairsville is to help all people find and follow Jesus together. Baptism is an exciting way to be a part of that vision by demonstrating what God has done in your life, and create an opportunity to share your testimony to others. Baptism also provides you the opportunity to grow as you learn what it means to give your life to Christ. To learn more about baptism or to schedule your baptism, fill out the form below and one of our ministers will be in touch.
